Another scream, the control was dropped but she stepped on it, breaking it and turning it on high. And it wouldn’t stop.
“You fucker! I’m blind now!” The Macii reached blindly for them.
His entire body was on fire.
Every nerve was alight in the worst possible way as his body arched and thrashed. Normally the Time Lord body would allow for such shocks, but not here. Not for this amount of time, at this intensity. His hands went up, trying to rip the seals from his lead, pulling at the skin, clawing at his head, screaming like he’d never screamed before in twelve hundred years.
The Time Lord shoved the Macii out of his way, summoning all of his strength to essentially topple her over to the floor. He moved to laser the control, making the shocks stop, then forced the Doctor to his feet. “Theta, Theta listen to me, we need to go, your TARDIS is just outside, all right?” Fatigue was plaguing his body, but he pulled the Doctor up, eyes swimming from the exertion as he partially dragged him from the room, heading for the console room.
The woman screamed as her head hit the wall, giggling like the madwoman she was. Even if she couldn’t see she could still speak.
“He’ll die if he leaves the console room.” She was loud enough to echo through the halls, standing and reaching for anything she could reach. She had released the hold of the isomorphic plugs, the shocks had long stopped.
“Return to me, Doctor.”

The Master stirred slightly when he was jostled, but only cuddled against the other’s cold skin, settling into bed when...
By the time Alva had kicked him in the face and was clean, and the tangles from her hair, and by the time he’d come back...
She pressed herself against the wall and cursed, screaming at them both.
